Terms of Service

Trevent is a free event RSVP and guest-management platform with a vendor marketplace built in. Organizers create events, invite and manage guests, and check people in at the door. Separately, organizers and attendees can browse and book real vendors - photographers, caterers, decorators, and more - directly through the platform.

Attending or RSVPing to an event on Trevent is always free. Booking a vendor is a paid transaction between you and that vendor, with Trevent providing the booking, payment, and communication tools in between.

You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account. The name, phone number, and email you give us should be accurate - they're how organizers, vendors, and Trevent reach you about your own bookings and events. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for anything that happens under your account.

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you publish - the event's date, location, and any details attendees rely on. If you invite guests through Trevent, you confirm you have the right to contact them by email.

Cancelling an event cancels every attendee's check-in and any vendor bookings tied to it, and notifies everyone affected. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens to vendor payments already made.

Vendor accounts go through a review before they can be booked, including identity verification (a selfie and accepting these terms). GSTIN is optional, if you have one. You're responsible for delivering the services you list, at the price and quality you describe, for every booking you accept.

All payment for a booking must happen through Trevent. Arranging payment outside the platform to avoid fees isn't allowed, breaks the escrow protection this policy describes for both sides, and can result in a warning, suspension, or your account being removed from the platform. Conversations on Trevent are monitored for exactly this.

A vendor booking is paid in two parts: an advance when the booking is made, and the remainder once the event is completed. Both go through Trevent's payment processor. A vendor's earnings are held for a short period after the event completes before they can withdraw them - this is described fully in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Trevent takes a commission from each vendor booking, set per vendor category and shown to the vendor before they accept any booking. Vendors withdraw their available balance to a UPI ID on file, subject to admin review of each withdrawal request.

You agree not to:

• Use Trevent for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.
• Impersonate another person, business, or vendor.
• Attempt to move a booking's payment off the platform.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with how the platform operates.
• Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that's abusive, obscene, or harassing.

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you upload. By uploading it, you give Trevent permission to display it as part of the normal operation of the platform - showing your event page to invitees, your vendor listing to organizers, and so on.

If something goes wrong with a vendor booking that a mutual cancellation doesn't resolve, open a support ticket describing what happened and reference the booking - our team will review it. We may suspend an account while a serious dispute is under review.

Trevent connects organizers, attendees, and vendors, and provides the tools to manage that relationship - we don't ourselves provide catering, photography, or any other vendor service, and aren't liable for how a vendor performs their service. To the extent the law allows, Trevent's liability for any claim is limited to the commission we actually earned from the booking in question.

We may update these terms as the platform changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do - continuing to use Trevent after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
